FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

After serving as volunteers for so many years, the team have found that our users have had queries that, in general, may have crossed other minds too. We felt we would share them here to give you a clearer picture of the

service we can provide. 

 

1. what are your Covid Guidelines ?

2. . Do I need appointment for collecting and Returning durning  Covid  ? 

We now require appointment to be booked for collecting and returning costumes to allows us to manage our capacticy please click here to contact  us  

3.  How do I pay for my donation? 

We have a variety of payment methods from Card,Contactless to PayPal plus more you can view our payment methods and make donation online  here 

4. MY CHILD ATTENDS A PRIVATE SCHOOL, CAN WE STILL HIRE? 

You'll be pleased to hear that CDRC is not means tested. If your need is for the purpose of a school activity, we're here to help all.    

5. I'VE GOT A PARTY TO GO TO, I NEED A COSTUME

We are a registered charity and do not cater for fancy dress, as we would be in direct competition with costume hire businesses. There are exceptions where friends or family are concerned or where you are raising funds for a charity. 

6. DO YOU HAVE HALLOWEEN COSTUMES?

As a Christian organisation we can't help you with this. However, if you need witches, Harry Potters, wizards or

ghosts or even a skull for a dramatic production, we have it sorted.  

7. I LIKE THAT COSTUME, DO YOU HAVE IT IN MY SIZE?

Most of the clothes we have are unique and one-offs. We may be able to find similar colours or styles, but rarely could we source the same exact costume in a multitude of sizes. 

8. CAN I BORROW THE EXACT SAME ITEM I HIRED LAST YEAR?

Yes and no, If you bring with you pictures from the last time you borrowed it, or we know what you're looking for from experience and that it is not lent out to another client, then yes. As costumes are always out on hire, and there is no easy

barcode label to recognise a particular costume against a previous order, it's more likely to be a no. But we will endeavour to meet your needs as best we can.

9. I AM A TEACHER/GROUP LEADER CAN I VIEW COSTIMES BEFORE I HIRE

Yes you can ,you can book a viewing appointment please contact us to arrange.
